Soil Sisters 2014.png

Celebrate summer bounty by visiting small family farms led by Wisconsin women committed to local agriculture and a healthy, fresh future for our  communities.

Join Scotch Hill for scheduled farm tours and check out the produce and farmstead products we'll have for sale.

Stay here at Innisfree B&B during the week end

We will also host four Green Acres Workshops on Saturday, August 3rd from 9am to 11am Baking Farmstead Breads. Last summer’s class was featured the Farm Her TV program. We have a great time baking Jim’s Best Bun’s, Elise’s Savory French Biscuits and this year we are adding Quick Crusty Bread. This class is $45

On Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm we have added Soap Making 101. I’ve taught this class in other venues for many years. Participants will make both hot and cold process soap and will have three different types of homemade soap to take home. Cost $50. This is an adult class due to caustic ingredients handled.

Sunday from 9am to 11am (or a little longer) is our Home Cheese Making class. This class includes a $24.95 cheese making kit for each participant which will make many more batches of cheese. We will make mozzarella and simple quest blanco or ricotta. Easy cream cheese will also be shown. Total cost including kit is $75.

Sunday from 1pm to 3pm is DYI Body Care Products. We will make all natural insect repellant, lip balm, lotion butter, and deodorant. You’ll have great products and recipes total home from this class. Cost $50.
